Senior Managing Director
Courtney Adante is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo Risk and Teneo Strategy. Ms. Adante advises clients in the areas of data analytics, new business / product strategy and business process re-engineering. Her recent focus has been building the go-to-market strategy for new business lines in analytics for a major global payments firm and a major global CPG brand.
Prior to joining Teneo, Ms. Adante worked for Accenture in the Capital Markets practice managing global client account teams. Her project work was primarily in the Investment Bank Trading and Operations space, specifically managing multi-million dollar projects in operational risk, trading supervisory enhancements, operational effectiveness, OTC Derivatives trading and middle office operations, regulatory reform, target operating models, and organizational design. Ms. Adante also supported the Capital Markets practice as the Finance, Risk and Regulatory (FRR) lead, developing the go-to-market strategy for FRR sales and thought leadership around operational risk and OTC Derivatives regulatory implementation challenges.
Before joining Accenture, Ms. Adante worked for the electronic trading system division of Instinet (INET) formerly known as Island ECN in New York, where she ran the FIX operations group and was the key account manager for all equity trading for US and European based client groups.
Before joining Island ECN, Ms. Adante was a Fixed Income Senior Market Supervisor at Eurex in Frankfurt, Germany, the electronic trading division of Deutsche Boerse. There, her primary role was to supervise electronic trading in German fixed income derivatives products. She monitored the markets for price aberrations and negotiated trade breaks between counterparties outside market. She speaks fluent German, and also executed trades on behalf of global traders.
Her career started at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) directly out of college, where she was a Senior Trade Fraud Investigator. Ms. Adante spent those early years standing in the trading pits conducting surveillance and monitoring markets for suspicious trading activity. When issues were discovered, she conducted interviews with traders and analyzed trading documents for further review and investigation with the Board.
During her final year at the CBOT, Ms. Adante completed her MBA at Loyola University in International Business and Finance. Ms. Adante is an active member of the American Council on Germany and the Women’s Bond Club of New York. She is also a member of the volunteer organization Girls, Inc.
