Liz Bruce is a Managing Director with Teneo Strategy.
Prior to joining Teneo, Ms. Bruce was the co-founder and Managing Director at Fitzroy Communications, which was acquired by Teneo in April 2017.
Before founding Fitzroy, Ms. Bruce was the Global Chief of Staff for Corporate Communications at Goldman Sachs from 2008 to 2012. During her time as Chief of Staff, she played a critical role in helping the firm manage its reputation and execute its communications strategy throughout a period of intense external scrutiny.
Prior to her roles in the public relations and communications sector, Ms. Bruce worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in the consumer retail group. She also worked for the US government where she developed software for satellite communications and engaged with government contractors on special projects.
Ms. Bruce has a wealth of experience helping clients develop and implement their communication programs and specializes in media relations, crisis management, M&A, litigation and regulatory issues, particularly those affecting financial services companies. She also has experience advising clients on optimal corporate marketing and communication team structures.
Ms. Bruce holds a B.S. in computer science and a B.A. in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
